This was the best Christmas our little family have ever had! Mostly just because boo was old enough to really understand it. She got spoiled rotten and had the best time ever!!

And the best part of Christmas was that my family got us all a trip to Disneyland for new years!

So we hit up the beach on New Years eve and got a little sun for our big day at Disney!!

We Had the best time EVER and got to meet all the characters Peight Loves!

I love my little family so so much and feel blessed to be married to my best friend. This is going to be a kick butt year for the little Bennett family and I can't wait to get it started.

That's right all of us girls rocked our matching Minnie sweaters we opened on Christmas!!

Octoberfest...

So I know Octoberfest is like a real thing but in this case I am not refering to it's actual meaning but rather to the craziness that October has brought to our lives of the little Bennett Family.

October happens to have two of our favorite peoples birthdays in it!! Our little Ry bug turned 2 on october 4th and celebrated with a suoer fun day at the zoo. Peighter's was brave enough to take a camel ride with aunt Brookie!

Then it was time to get our creepy Halloween decorations on (which is my favorite thing to do) so we decked the halls...or whatever the Halloween equivalent to that is:)

Then come Auntie lala's birthday which is a week long event sponsored by everyone who happens to love her. There are about six different dinners at way expensive restaurant's and presents and cakes...all in all it is a lot of fun but you definitely wonder where all your money went at the end of "birthday week"

Then the time comes for the real festivities to begin the only time of year when you can dress your kid up like she is the star of toddlers and tiara's and get away with it! This year was Peighton's choice and all though you would think that since it was her choice she would or should be happy with it... the night started off with lots of crying about how itchy her dress was. But the day was quickly saved by the adding of a pink undershirt and all was right in the world again.

She thought this horse was Maximus from Tangled which just increased the Disney magic we were already feeling hahahaha

Watching her trick or treat was so so much fun! she loved it and was so excited that it was so easy to get candy!

It was at this point in the night while she was surrounded by all her sugary friends that she yelled "this was the best day ever!!"

Then we told her it was time to go to bed...and we were back where we started:)

summer wrap-up: part 1

This really was an amazing fun summer for our family! The california trip was amazing and we have the pictures to prove it! My baby loves the beach and spent hours just playing in the sand with her Dad and Nana (i prefer to lay out and watch from a distance;)) We spent a ton of time with my brother and his wife and my sissy and her now FIANCE!! We took late night trips to balboa for ice cream and ate tons of yummy sushi! And now I can officially say living there has not ruined Cali but only made it better! We were sad to have to leave and a part of us still wished we lived there but when we came back we got to move into our new house!!!! So we were not to sad (pictures coming in part 2)

My friends some how talked me into going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and seeing as how I never read the books I am not a die hard fan... but I am always down for an excuse to drink gallons of Dr Pepper, eat tons of candy and hang out with my girls into the wee hours of the morning! We had so much fun!

Swimming with Nana and papa is a daily occurrence at our house and something miss P is going to miss desperately when we move in a few weeks! She is a water baby and can"t get enough of the pool!

This happened to be the day that the power was out for like 8 hours so they were looking for flashlights incase it didn't get turned on my dark!

I am loving this age (2 1/2) so so much! She loves to play with her princesses and have tea parties. She plays house with her babies and loves to just sit back and watch a movie! I love her so much. In my opinion this is the best way to beat the heat...stay inside and crank the AC!

These 5 girls (minus our amazing Chelsea in Seattle) have been my best friends since I was 15 years old! It was Jessica and Katie's birthday and we decided to party!! It was so fun and yummy....we played games and ate fluffernutter sandwhiches (penut butter nutella and marshmallow fluff) haha! They had a photo spot set up and Britt snapping some pictures! Funnest night ever! Happy birthday

We had a very fun...very dirty weekend! It was the annual (or in our case the evry 3 years) Burk family camping trip/reunion! This little princess had the time of her LIFE! Turns out she loves dirt? I know right....loves the feeling of it in her hand! And when camping do as the campers do...get dirty!

Even though it is not documented (you can ask my in-laws for proof) I went on the zip line too! Only because P looked at me and said "a mommy do it!"

We picked flowers, we skipped rocks, we were wilderness women....

....and every once in a while we were city girls who played with our IPhone!

Being a "mommy" is one of the hardest, most exhausting, most anxiety producing, most beautiful, most amazing, most humbling, most rewarding things I have ever been called to do in my life. But I feel so blessed that I was called to this life to be a mother and to get the privilege of raising one of Heavenly Father's most amazing little spirits. I take being a mom very seriously and although I constantly mess up at it, I keep trying to get better and better. I love this little girl so much! She is the one who got me the coveted title of "mommy" and I am so grateful to her for that.

My husband did such a great job of helping Miss P understand the meaning of the day, and she was constantly telling me "Happy Moder's day". I love them so so much and LOVE my iPhone too!! yay (it makes me feel like a cool mom as opposed to my cracked blackberry which I hid from people with shame:)) Overall this was an amazing mother's day!

zoo and easter

I have been wanting to take P to the zoo forever and this saturday seemed like the last chance before it gets too hot! It was so fun for her even though most of the animals were asleep...her faces were priceless.

Easter was so fun at our house and full of "tandy" and trying to learn about Jesus (her new favorite thing to say about Jesus is "He lives"...she says it about a hundered times a day!)

I can't believe I have been married for five years to this amazing person. He is truly my best friend in the whole world. I love him so much and can't imagine my life without him. I love that I get to be sealed to him forever. He makes me laugh. He makes me feel so safe. Wherever he is I want to be too...he is truly the love of my life and I am so lucky to have found him! I would like to thank Chelsea and Mountain View cafeteria for bringing us together! hahaha

On another completely ridiculous and self centered note, I had to take the time to congratulate myself on accomplishing a huge goal of mine....to fit back in my wedding dress by my 5 year anniversary!(vain I know but just indulge me for one sec. and I will never mention it again) after I got married I instantly gained 15 pounds and never was able to get it off...add the 50 I gained bringing miss P into the world (worth it) and I had quite the mountain to climb but I did it! with the help of weight watchers, spin classes and some P90X I know fit back into my wedding dress again and feel better then I ever have! yay me (I know you can throw up now I am done.)

Last week we got to go to California for the day with just our little family! It was so fun to be back in California even if it was only for 24 hours! We miss the beach and the yummy weather so much! But that next weekend when we came home to the 90 degree weather we called our favorite cousins and had a little pool party to beat the heat!

To call this post a picture overload would be the understatement of the year! I tried choosing fewer but I just think that she looks darling in every picture! It was the best little family party ever! We had a Minnie Mouse pancake party! All of us girls wore our Minnie Mouse shirts... miss P loved it! (side note, there are no pictures of Ty I relized after! So sorry but he was busy making all of the darling pancakes and filming the party!) She got way too many presents and ate way too much sugar...so it was definately a good B-Day for her!

Weekend Wrap Up

So this weekend was not so great... Saturday was my birthday and that was the kick-off of what turned out to be one disaster after another! First of all my husband was so so sick I am talking a deadly cough and don't worry...RING WORM! thats right! It had spread before they figured out what it was! It is all over his legs and torso...it just looks like a crazy rash but it it is highly contagiuos so he was not in good shape! Now it gets worse...he some how managed to get up and play in a golf tournament on the morning of MY BIRTHDAY! I know it lasted until 2! My baby was being super clingy that day(my birthday) so I took her with me to H&M but because my car is lacking in the entertainment department(no radio...broken! and no TV) I asked my mom if we could switch cars so miss P wouldn't scream the whole drive! I then went to H&M where i found nothing for me but spent my birthday money on my BABY! Well then I got a call from my mom an hour later saying my car had broken down and she nearly died while it stalled in the middle of the intersection. She had to abandon it on the corner of Val Vista and Southern! I then drop my phone, cracking the screen nearly in two and decide it is time to just go home and put Peight down for a nap! That night we had dinner and movie plans so I figured it would all be ok if I could just make it to that. Leaving was a nighmare Peight cries and cried as I was leaving "mamamamamamamamamamama" but I left anyway(hey it was my birthday) I figured my mom could handle it! I got to dinner 30 min late and got a call from my mom...she still hadn't stopped crying. I ate dinner and called back when I was done, STILL CRYING! My mom said, "I don't know what to do I think she just needs you!" AHHHH seriously pulling at my heart string because my happy little baby NEVER acts like this! So long story short I went home early and when I got there she didn't care and had stopped crying so i went to bed! There are no pictures of my birthday this year because frankly turning 26 was not so fun! however my birthday passed and my husband fixed my car and I forgave him for golfing and my baby stopped clinging and all was right in the world again on February 13th!

So for Valentines Day we decided to lay low and make it simple dinner in Fountain Hills as a family and then a snuggle fest on the couch! All is now well in the Bennett household. One year older and wiser too!

Although there was all that crazy...I am so grateful for my 2 valentines and all the love and laughter they bring to my life!

A Baby Story

This little bug became a big sister on Sunday! My sister in law Kerri had her second beautiful baby girl during the National Anthem on Superbowl Sunday! I was luck enough to get to see Baby A come into the world! (thank you so much Chris and Kerri!!) It was seriously the most amazing thing I have ever seen! Having a baby of your own and watching someone else have one are two very different things!!! Having one of your own is so much work and energy...watching one born is the most peaceful and spiritual experience I have ever had (like i said not so much for my sis in law i am sure) although she did have that baby out in 3 pushes...AMAZING. I am so jealous and now have really high expectations for baby #2 to just pop right out!(NOT PREGNANT OR EVEN TRYING) just wanted to clear that up so there was no confusion:)haha!

I love being an aunt..so fun!

Christmas in AZ

Every year we get together with some of Ty's cousins and go on a horse drawn hayride around the neighborhood! Peight loved it and kept saying, "nay walk" so funny she has only seen them standing still! Fasinating to a 22month old!

This was the thing I was most excited about, going to the Mesa temple lights. There is nothing like this in California and I couldn't believe how much I missed it!

Presents, presents, present! Little miss Rylee loves her stuffed animals and went straight for her new penguin!

We had our anual Christmas dinner that my mom makes at Jason and Mallory's house this year! It was delicious! Such a fun day\photo shoot!

Since the first time we took this little girl to Sea World she has been obsessed with Shamu!!! "Mu" as she calls him is her favorite stuffed animal and she sleeps with him everynight!

We bought tickets in august when we first moved here and you got until the end of the year to come back for free...so this was our last time to see Shamu for a while and we soaked it all up!

It took her like 20 min to let us put her down because she was alittle afraid!

Shamu's show believe is her favorite!

This was so fun...in their 3d theater they were showing the movie Polar Express (just parts of it) and they had real snow fall from the sky! It was my favorite part of the day!!

I mean SERIOUSLY...? I would DIE for her! I she not the cutest FUNNIEST little girl you have EVER seen?!!

Thanksgiving in California

What a weekend! We were lucky enough to get all the Bennett clan to come down to our house for Thanksgiving! Thats right 10 of us in our charming little house...it was actually the funnest part! It was like a giant slumber party..the girls loved having their whole family right there! We ate, talked and shopped all weekend long! The girls had a blast with eachother. They would sit by eachother and watch Toy Story 3 before bed time! We love Rylee Grace so much around here...we talk about her everyday so having her here was a dream come true!

Grandpa is always a favorite to snuggle with...and if one gets to snuggle grandpa the other is not far behind to get in on the action!

On Saturday we took the whole group to the orange county swapmeet...but the best day of the week was Thusday of course! The feast...

My mother in law makes the most coveted sweet potatoe casserole in the world!..seriously all my Aunts call for the recipe to try and duplicate this amazing side dish that tastes more like a dessert!

My sis in law and her hubs made the veggies...they are big fans of the food network so they are always coming up with these amazing ways to make something new and delicious! For example mushrooms stuffed with stuffind and sprinked with cheese...ahh they were so stinking good! And her husband Chris made the best bacon and cheese brussle sprouts!

I stuck with making the basic stuffing and mashed potatoes! My biggest contribution was decorating the table. It turned out cuter than I thought it would...PS the candles spell out thankful...stole the idea from Martha Stewart!

I wanted little pumpkins to use as place settings but instead we swiped persimons (i think that is how you spell it?) from my neighbors tree! Perfect color and they were so tiny and adorable! I used my stamp set I got from an antique store to put the first letter of each of our names on it!

It was the perfect day for an outdoor dinner! And our green backyard made the perfect backdrop for our table.

Thanks to my amazing in laws for the yummiest funnest Thanksgiving weekend! And a little love for my family who we missed so much..!

Re-do

I have been wanting to re-do my bedroom lately but a lack of money and new ideas kept me sticking with the black and white room...but then I had this crazy idea to sand my bed down so it would look all beat up and destressed! My ideas usually manifest within minutes and this one was no different...I pulled out some old bedding and accessories I had stored away and by noon I had the beggining of a new room! I still want to paint all the walls sort of a linen-y taupe color and do some soft sheer gausy drapes on the windows(which are not shown due to there current ugliness)! Oh and some new sheets would be nice....why can't I be rich!!!???

You totally can't see how yummy my bed looks! Have I metioned I hate my stupid cheap camera...feel free to buy me a new fancy one for christmas anyone (they are only like 800 dollars! haha)

sick baby

My poor sicky baby. For the last two days me and little miss P have been sitting on the couch surounded by all of her animals and babies. We have been watching the same 3 episodes of mickey mouse clubhouse over and over and over and over agian! For some reason it is the only thing that brings her a little comfort. Mommy of course can't move from her side because she wants to "nunnle" aka snuggle when she doesn't feel good! If it sounds like I am complaining I am totally not! One of my favorite things about being a mom is being able to take care of my sick baby...it is another one of those things that always seperated the mommies from the nannies and I am very happy to be the mommy! It does however come with this overwhelming feeling of anxiety for me...I hate watching her feel sick and throw up. I feel completely helpless. I feel like I can't breathe right until she is all better, I can't sleep until her fever breaks. I love her so much that I litterally feel all of her symptoms! haha...do you know what I mean? When you see the sick in their little eyes and it makes you feel sick? I am guessing most moms feel it! :) I hate nursery and all it little germs haha! We will just have to go back on sunday and return the favor!

First I would like to announce that my mother-in-law and I won best chilli at her ward party! Thanks to Penny for the best cream cheese chicken chilli recipe ever!!

Ok so we had the best Halloween week ever in Arizona with our friends and family! The first weekend we were there we had two grown up parties the 80's party featured above and the little reunion party with some of Ty's high school friends, which is featured below! In the middle is our little Ballerina striking many poses in her halloween costume! We had a blast! thanks to everybody for the fun!

The reuinion dinner party was so much fun! We had a six course dinner with fun and games in between each course! One of the games we played involved Ty in a shower cap with whipped cream all over it and we had to see how many candy corns we could get to stick! i just thuoght he looked like an ice cream cone...haha!

The decorations were so beautiful but my stupid camera does not show how cute it is, but hopefully you get the idea! Thanks Steve and Breck for the fun night and all the yummy food!

But perhaps the funnest part was getting to get all dressed up and getting to spend the whole night snuggled up with my hubs! I love him so much and we don't always get to spend tons of qualitytime together with work and little miss attention stealer:) around
so it was just fun to be together...oh and we won the newlywed game!

A murder and a dinner

When we got here last weekend we drove straight to my besties Ang and Pen's Halloween party! It was so much fun! It was one of those murder mystery parties...and our theme was 20 year high school reunion that obviously took place in the 80's! 1987 to be exact! We all had characters we had to be...I was a schoo teacher and Ty was a furniture salesman! I hope you enjoy his nasty mustache because I am still not sure if I will ever look at him the same again! This is by far my favorite time of year...FALL! and now that we live in California we get to experience it for real. By for real I mean not just turning down the air and lighting my Gold Canyon pumpkin pie candle! We get to go to a real Pumpkin patch and pick our pumpkins off the vine!!!! Ah! I am in Heaven and so was Miss P! We will show you the results of our carving when we finish it!

This was one of the best weekends of my life! There is something about your oldest bestest friends that makes you feel so comfortable and happy with yourself! The side effects are that you might sometimes act like you are 12 because that is when you started up these amazing friendships...so worth it! I am so grateful to my amazingly talented friend Brittney (and her gorilla camera stand) for the most amazing pictures ever! My whole life is documented by Brittney Gurr photography, if it wasn't for her I would have no proof of the memories I have made over the last 13 years! I love you Brittney!!!!!! and seriously thank you!

Friday was our first day together and we headed for L.A. Our first stop was the fashion district

for $5 sunglasses and little treasures! I don't know if everyone knows this but Celine Dion is my hero...haha! I grew up singing it with my mom and she just stuck...uh if I could sing like her I would die.

We headed home that same day and got gussied up for our fancy dinner (fancy meaning we didn't have kids) We went to El Toritto Grill A-MAZ-ING!

The next day we went to the swapmeet in the morning grabbed corndogs for lunch and read on the beach for the rest of the afternoon! NO KIDS I mean life is completely different I had totally forgotten what it meant to relax!! Loved it

Sunday our sweet Chelsea went home and we decided we would rest our bodies for Disneyland, so we hit up this amazing park by my house and ate and lounged around! We did so much eating this weekend I had to detox for days after they left...haha

What can I say? I love pringles

DISNEYLAND!!!! It was the best day ever! From 10 am to 9 pm we never sat down and we never waited for more than 15min in any line!!!! I KNOW it was awesome! I had blisters on my feet by the end of the day but it was totally worth it!

I can not believe they brought back the Michael Jackson video! I danced my but off...it brought back so many memories! I love you girls sosososososososo much I am so lucky to have the five best high school friends ever(missed you tiff) I love you girls so much! See you in Seattle next year!

This is just a teaser from last weekend when all but one of my high school besties came to visit me! We went to L.A. the beach and disneyland so much laughing and walking I am still recovering! Not last weekend but the weekend before we went back to good old Arizona! oh don't worry I cried when we reached the 202 because I had missed it so much! What can I say I love Arizona and the 25 years of life it holds for me! Anyway Peighter had the worlds best weekend hanging out with her favorite cousin in the whole world Rylee!

They were hillarious together! They got along for the most part and they loved to copy eachother if one of them squeeled the other would copy it! The best was when one of them would growl the other would copy and it would go on for like thirty minutes! hahaha we all just watched and laughed! I love my beautiful little niece...seriously she is so beautiful and sweet as can be! Her mom is also amazing with her! I love my sis in law so much and am so happy we had our little angels close together so they can grow up and be best friends! I love you Kerr and can't wait to meet your knew little baby girl that is growing in your tummy! Thanks for making me an aunt again!

She is seriously so spoiled at her grammy's house and she loves it! There are toys galore and even more hugs and kisses! I don't want to brag too much but I might possibly have the best in laws and the best mother in law\grammy in the whole world! When P is with her I don't worry about her one bit she knows I am a little crazy and she will literally do what ever I ask her no matter how crazy:)! She is an angel..an actual angel sent form heaven! I get emotional just thinking about her. she is one of the most selfless people I have ever known and she is always there to listen to me when I need her! We love you grammy and grandpa! Thanks for the best weekend ever!

Three weekends ago we decided to go to Sea World as a family. It was our second time going so we already knew that miss P was obsessed with shamu (who she just lovingly refers to as mu).

They have this cool kids place filled with all the Sesame Street characters...Melmo being her favorite of course! She had so much fun bouncing around with all the other kids her age! All I can do is think about all the germs that must be all over that bouncy thing!!!eeeeww!

We bought her her first shamu stuffed animal and now she litterally sleeps with him every night!!

Oh yeah and there was this amazing new show called Blue Horizons and it had dolphins and whales and birds and trapeeze artists it was awesome!

18 months and a new room

For P's half birthday I decided I should finish her room! It turned out cute...I am still trying to decide if I can live with the white walls! See it goes against everything I believe to have whiet walls in my house but I have burned out from painting and it is so hard to paint her room because i usually paint while she sleeps to avoid messes and I can't do that with her room...obviously! So i decided maybe I could add enough color with accessories! I just bought that chandelier sticky thing yesterday and hung it on the wall but it looked so boring so I went out in my garage and found this magnet board I had and decided to rip it out and use the frame. The frame was light enough that i could nail through it so it was secure on the wall (don't want miss P pulling it down). I then sprayed it metalic aged it and glazed it! Still something was missing so I busted out the aqua paint and watered some down rubbed it on the wall and wiped it away to my liking. Then I used the trust Tabacco glaze from ralph lauren(use it to age everything I am so in love) to make it look old and weathered! I love the end product! the pictures next to it need to be changed out or sconces need to be there instead!

Please ignore the pillows on the chaise...they need to be replaced! I am on it!

My sweet little baby girl turned 18months old yesterday! I can not believe it she really isn't a baby anymore she is a full grown toddler! She has opinions about what she wears and she makes goofy faces and thinks falling over is just about the most hillarious thing that ever happened! Wierd and goofy...my little toddler!

I decided she could have her first pigtails!! She actually loved them! but the pic is terrible!

Look at those eyes! she is such a big girl! She even gave up bottles and sippies for naps and ni nights just kitty(hello kitty doll) and a blankie and she is good! It was way easier then I expected! So proud of her!

This weekend my sister came to visit so the whole fam got together a lot...on saturday we went to the Orange County swap meet, where we shopped till we dropped! There was so much fun stuff, including the hat miss P is wearing in these pictures! On sunday we went to church all together and then hit the beach for a little sunny relaxation. Monday we hit irvine spectrum mall and shopped the entire day...again:) followed by ice cream at Balboa Island and another tearful goodbye! A weekend just isn't long enough! I love this little girl so much! I had a moment with her today when she bumped her head....she instantly started crying mommy mommy and looking at me to make it better! It brought back a flood of memories of when I was taking care of other peoples babies for a living and I really loved them but everytime they would get hurt it wasn't my name they cried it was always their mommies. I would feel a little twinge of pain and long for the day I could be on the recieving end of one of those cries for help, and although today wasn't the first time it has happened it just made me remember how much I love being the mommy and how much I love this kid! I love you little bug!

Last night I decided to put all the pictures I have on discs onto my computer. I had all my wedding pictures and all my pictures with my girlfriends from when I was single and then I found all my old Ecuador pictures and I stayed up until 1 am crying and laughing at all the memories! I miss those brown eyed babies so much. I miss being out of my comfort zone. I miss the feeling of being on an adventure that you know will change your life forever. I miss making new friends. I miss eating wierd food. I miss staying up late laughing until you cry. I miss seeing different parts of the world. I am so grateful I was able to go there and experience the things that I did. Going to ecuador to work in the orphanages has had an undeniable impact on my life that will last forever. I would not be the mother I am today with out all of those babies and the expeiences they gave me. I am so grateful that my baby doesn't have to grow up the way that they did...she is so lucky. I hope she can understand how blessed she is to have two parents who love her and care for her everyday. And I wanted to tell Emmy, Cheddy and Nat thank you for sharing that experience with me. I am so grateful for the friendships we formed there and will love you girls for the rest of my life, no matter how busy or far apart we get. I am so grateful for pictures and memories.

Design Dilema

I am sure some of my close friends are thinking if you don't know what to do how should we know...but i need a little advice!? My absolute favorite thing about my new bedroom is the 14 ft wall behind my bed...it is so dramatic. I also love my bedding I got it when we were first married and used it for a year then decided to put it away for a while. I just pulled it out of a box and added some new pillows and rediscovered it! so what is the problem...? What color do i put on my dramatic focal wall? a. a bright sort of turquiose/aqua blue b. a more neutral gray color or c. some color I haven't even thought of yet? Then do i just paint it solid or do i do big stripes in matt and gloss... I am having serious decorator's block!!! Help me if you feel so inclined!!

Laundromat

So my hubs is hard at work and hasn't hooked up my washer and dryer yet which means a trip to a laundromat! Why is it called a laundrOmat anyway? Well we were there... and lucky us right next door was Cafe Rio! I only left AZ a week ago but the sweet pork quesadilla was like a little piece of heaven and Peighters had just about the best time ever playing with all the baskets! Love her so much and love clean laundry!

I first of all want to say thank you so much to Tiffany and Clay (am i accepting an oscar?) for getting married and bringing 'the girls' back together! this was litterally one of the funnest days I have had in a really long time. A little background story...we have all been friends since highschool (and some of us since elementry). Tiffany is the last one of us to get married and we are all so excited because starting with Katie we have all six been sealed to our amazing husbands in the Temple!!!! An amazing accomplishment in my opinion! And I know i don't speak only for myself when I say that it is because of these amazing girls that I ended up there! They were the best friends anyone could have ever asked for and I know they are majorly responsible for the good life I have lived. I only hope that when Peighton grows up She is blessed with friends like mine that will help lead her to the Temple someday! I love you girls and had so much fun acting like we were 17 last weekend! bye bye Umbilical Cord

So here is the story...when I was two weeks old my Nana and Grandad came over from England for the first time to see me and America! Well my parents also took them on a trip to the Grand Canyon. While they were there my umbilical cord fell off and they decided to throw it into the Grand Canyon. As the years have gone by I have heard this story a hundered times and thought it was kind of cool! Ty and I love the beach and the ocean so we planned a trip to Cali so that we could throw her umbilical cord into the ocean! Hpoefully she will someday appreciate this little piece of history! i know this story is kind of stupid and porely written butt I am trying to hurry before my kid wakes up...so cut me some slack!!Haha

What can i say about having a Baby? Most of you have probably experienced it for yourselves. although if you chose to have an epedural yours probably worked properly! Mine on the other hand chose to work on my stomach area but not my nether regions...you know the place where the head comes out!!!! I am not sure why and neither was my anesthisiologist (i have no idea how to spell that). It was probably due to my crooked back and the fact that ho had to put the needle in higher than most people or it could be the fact that I went from a four to a ten in 45min! Either way I felt the ring of fire! I won't go into to much detail so that those of you who don't have kids will still want to! All I can say is it was worth it when I saw her beautiful face! I have only been in love like this once before and that is with my amazing husband! The love I felt for her was instant and keeps growing every day! By the way her name is Peighton Jade Bennett and she was 7 pounds 9 ounces 20 in long!

So remember like two or three nieve months ago when I said I loved and even wanted to be fat? Well I take it back!!!!!! Ha ha I now just want this cute little girl out of my belly and in my arms! I want my waist back and my boobs up again(if that is even possible without major surgery). All of that said this has been the longest and most amazing eight months of my life...feeling her grow inside of me is crazy! She will literally get her little body parts to almost rip through my skin! Ah I love her so much...Ty and I can't wait to kiss her soft little face! I am sure these next five weeks are going to go by so slow because we are so excited!

I know I am not usually the kind to just post my thoughts, but this is one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced! I have heard expectant moms talk about how fun and amazing it is to feel their babies move inside their tummies. I am just in awe to be experiencing it myself. I can feel her role and kick and punch! She moves the most later at night after I have had dinner (althogh I can feel softer kicks on and off through out the day). I find myself sitting on my couch for hours and putting off sleep just to play with her! I can move my hand around and she will find it and kick it...I love her so much already and she is only a little bigger than a bannana! I can't imagine seeing her facial expresions or holding her little hand in mine! But in the mean time I am excited to feel her grow inside of me and have her kicks get stronger and stronger. Although I was blessed to get pregnant so fast I feel like I have been waiting to be a mom my whole life I am excited for this responsabiltiy Heavenly Father is giving Ty and I. I promise her I will be the best mom I can be and when I am not I will try harder. I feel so blessed!

I know this isn't the best picture but I always forget to take them when Ty is home to help so they are tricky to do by myself! I took this picture last week and I swear it is even bigger now! I love it. When ever I see people at the mall and tell them I am five months pregnant they always say, "You are so tiny, it must be your first." I think they think that is what most people want to hear...but not me!! I want them to tell me my belly is so big and cute and they totally knew I was pregnant! I make my husband tell me I am giant everyday and I think he loves the change from when I used to make him tell me I am as skinny as I was in high school! I love getting bigger because it is a sign that my beautiful baby girl is growing big and healthy. Pregnancy Has been the most amazing thing I have ever experienced! It is amazing to feel this little thing inside you moving around. I love her so much already I can't wait to see her beautiful face but in the mean time I can't wait to keep growing bigger and bigger and feel her move more and more! What can I say I am in love!

Schnepf Farms

This Saturday we met up with the family I nanny for and went out to Schnepf farms with them! It was so much fun...I never realized what a big deal this place was. There were a ton of fun games and hay rides and of course yummy food. Sam thought she had died and gone to heaven when she got to ride on a real pony.
And of course a picture of my favorite boys!

To be honest I really wanted to get a picture of a pumkin painted on my face..that was one of my favorite things when I was a kid, but I figured since I am already starting to look like one I better pass!

I have a confession..for the last four and a half months I have been keepeing something from you(not really I think most of you know by now!) Ty and I are having a baby!!!!!! I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and just found out yesterday that We are having a baby GIRL! I feel so overwhelmed and so blessed! I have wanted to be a mom as long as I can remember. Like most little girls when asked the question What do you want to be when you grow up? I was always quick to say a mommy. I can't believe it is finally happening! I am so excited to be having a girl even though I would have sworn I was having a boy! I hope I can be a good example to her and not totally screw up! I am so excited and just wanted to let you know!!!!!!!!!

It is hard to believe that in June she was pee on a stick and now she is a bump in my belly!

Birthday Boys!!!!

Today is my Dad's birthday and September 7th was my little brother Cole's birthday! These are my second and third favorite guys that ever lived (Ty is number one obviously). I get emotional just thinking about them. My dad is one of the strongest hardest working men I know. He has always taken care of us kids and more importantly he has loved us and taught us how to be strong out going people. I get my ability to talk for hours on end from him! Cole is my angel, I love him more than words can express. We are 14 years appart so I always like pretending like he was my baby when he was growing up. I would die with out him in my life! I am so proud of the good person he is! I love you guys...Happy Birthday!

Not That I don't love my life right now...especially with all the fun changes that are coming, but I can't help missing those times when it was all about me!!!! Every weekend was an opportunity to dress up and play with girlfriends! AH Girlfriends..love them, miss them. We would have the funnest times doing nothing! We would razor around Tempe town lake and stuff our faces with pizza! I feel like I didn't have a care in the world.

How sexy is my Husband? The cruise ship had a guitar hero contest every night...needless to say my rock star of a husband won!

This is totally not going to help the fact that Ty and I's life seems like one big vacation! This last week his Grandparents (the same ones that sent us to hawaii) took us along with his entire family (i.e.aunts uncles cousins parents) on a cruise through the Mexican Riviere to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary!!!!! I know right? We had so much fun...unfortunately my camera died on like the seccond day and I forgot the charger!!!! So I only have the few pictures!

This last weekend my best friend Chelsea came into town from washington so of course we had to have one of the things I cherish most in life...a night with just the girls! We went to cheesecake factory and then we saw Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2...ha it was so fun to spend time together! I love these girls so much and I don't know what I would do with out them in my life!

Ty and I drove up to Snowflake last weekend to pick up my little brother from my grandparents house. My grandpa has these old three wheel bikes that he rides all over the small town and everyone I mean everyone knows who he is! When we were growing up we thought he was famous or something!
So when we were driving them around town we felt famous too! Famous in a small town (I think that is a country song.)
Cole's seat kept turning and he had a little bit of a melt down this is his angry face!

Anything that has to do with my husband. I just love being around him whether we are doing something fun or not.
My job! I love it so much..the kids are amazing and give me so much love.
Exercising! I know I am weird but it is my therapy and I absolutely love it, stair master, treadmill or elliptical I don't care I love to get sweaty!

FEARS

Not getting pregnant again for a long time...I want a baby now!
Getting fat (what girl isn't afraid of this? oh and pregnant fat doesn't count..I want that belly)
Not being a good enough friend! I always want to be there for my friends and sometimes it just seems like there isn't enough time in the day.

GOALS

To get pregnant (I love to practice!)

CURRENT OBSESSIONS

Watching So You Think You Can Dance? I love it! Why did my parents let me quit dance when I was four?
Making dinner..if you know me you know this is weird because I don't cook but I love it right now. It is amazing what a budget will do for your creativity.
Swimming! I love swimming with the kids I nanny. I can't get enough!

RANDOM SURPRISING FACTS

I just died my hair dark brown and I did it myself...I sometimes just need a change.
I love to clean it helps me clear my mind and organize my thoughts!
I have to be freezing cold when I sleep...needless to say half of our budget is for SRP ha ha!

This Last weekend was so fun..our friends Jake and Jessica have a condo down in Rocky Point and four of us couples went down to enjoy it! The girls layed on the beach all day while the boys went spear fishing! Talk about the perfect vacation! Thank you Jake and Jess!!!

It is so hot outside!!! What else can you do but swim? NOTHING! The kids I nanny have a grandma that lives in Val Vista Lakes...if you have never heard of it it is just a cool place that has a man made beach for kids to play on. My little sister took the kids she nannies and made a day of it! So fun!
Sometimes I contemplate never giving him back to his family. SO CUTE!

We went to Seattle just for the fun of it! It is one of those places I have always wanted to go. It was beautiful!

Good old Disneyland! We went there for our birthdays in February!
One sunday we decided to take a day trip to Sedona...pretty sad when you have lived in Arizona your whole life and had never been!

And this was a Jarvis Family trip to Idaho spring break 2007 where Ty broke his collar bone snowboarding!!

My little Sister, Alexa graduated from High School this year. Which means it has been Five years since my graduation...life goes by too fast.

Burk Reunion

This is the place we called home for three days! I have to say I was nervous about camping but the Burks do it right! We had bathrooms to pee in and showers to clean in! Thanks to Uncle Robert he knows his stuff!
